We assist Veterans who are either seeking employment or assistance in improving their employment status through multiple available avenues. These include, but are not limited to, computer/internet access with full access to Skill Success online training, military-to-civilian job skill translation, access to posted job boards, business clothing distribution, resume assistance, interview preparation, and transportation to and from job applications or interviews.

Employment Services

Assistance with service-related disability claims and entitlements is a unique challenge, yet is often necessary in providing Veterans financial stability. These claims frequently turn out to be a viable source of sustainable income. They often open the door for ongoing medical coverage and, in some cases, vocational rehab that is consistently overlooked.

Veterans like ourselves that have gone through this process can truly understand the uphill battle that it can be and may provide a unique perspective.

VA Assistance

Drug and Alcohol Detox & Rehab Referral Services

Vetwork provides several options for inpatient and outpatient facilities using available VA programs for both daily extensive care and on an as-needed basis. Vetwork also works in conjunction with local Ocean County programs that are specifically tailored to meet and exceed the needs of a Veteran battling substance abuse or having mental health struggles. We are very proud to work with our partners in the community to work towards our common goal.

Psychological Evaluation & Assessment

Veterans seeking treatment or that require psychological assessment or examination discernibly require immediate, professional assistance. These circumstances create a time-sensitive situation that is attended to with all due diligence and the utmost care. Vetwork also works in conjunction with local Ocean County programs such as the Ocean Mental Health Phoenix program, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Mental Health Diversion Program, and Veterans Diversion Program. In addition, Vetwork will subsidize funding for these resources if necessary.

Money Management, Budgeting, & Life Skills

Vetwork assists veterans with money management and creating and maintaining a budget. This essential skill is conducted by Vetwork case managers on-site. Veterans adopt this budget into their lives, moving them closer to self-sufficiency. Vetwork also assists veterans when they experience IRS intervention.

Disability Claims and Acquisitions of Military Records

Vetwork assists veterans with beginning the process of submitting a disability claim with the VA. Vetwork case managers also assist veterans with the acquisition of military records, typically with the DD214 or discharge paperwork. In addition to claims and military records, Vetwork also helps veterans complete applications for nursing homes.
